Are you in the miDdle of planning a birthday party, weddiNg, or another special event and are Finding yourself in need of something special for kids?

We are excited to announce that we are available for events on Shelter Island and neighboring communities. We at Imagination Island believe that celebratory events like birthdays and weddings are the birthplace of some of life’s best memories, which is why every guest (no matter how young or old) should be catered to and feel special. So, that is why we will work with you to select and create custom activities that are perfect for your event and it’s guests! Imagination Guide Volunteer Hours:

We are so grateful to all of the 4th and 5th graders in the Shelter Island community who have volunteered their time to help our program! These growing leaders have earned as a whole over 203 service hours during spring 2022. Here's a huge thank you and congratulations to the students below for their dedication and hours spent at Imagination Island!

Steve, Amy, and their daughter Taylor lead Imagination Island. Amy Taylor Adkison holds a master's degree in teaching with a focus on early childhood and elementary education from Columbia International University. Amy is passionate about creating opportunities for children to tap into their imaginations. She is an elementary teacher at Hayground School in Bridgehampton, NY and believes that all children are born with unique gifts and talents. Taylor is an honor's student in college, an entrepreneur, photographer, and a friend to all children. Together, they have created a program that focuses on the individuality of each child and will inspire creativity, laughter, learning, and growth. Children may work on a freestyle project or group led activity.
